Course Overview: Session 1 of a 3 session course. This three-part course will start from the ground up, introducing students to the skills necessary for creating a website from scratch. We will cover topics such as the basics of HTML (Hyper Text Mark Up Language), how to layout images on a web page, formatting text, creating hyperlinks, defining a root folder and uploading a site you’ve built to a Web server, managing email links and much, much more. This is an essential series for nonprofits who are interested in expanding their capacity through designing and maintaining a website and enhancing their presence on the Internet. This hands-on series will be held on three consecutive Thursdays in October.
