The great organization is due to your thorough planning process. The great look is due to a great graphic designer. We get to take credit for the content :-).
The content is great because it is updated frequently. That is easy to do using Contribute and the styles and templates that you provided us with. Our website has received a phenomenal response from our board of directors as well as our staff. Our board and administrators are particularly impressed with the heightened professionalism due to the new look and the ease-of-use due to the new navigation. Traffic to our website has skyrocketed, we have received increased sign-ups from media for our email outreach program, an increase in registrants for our national conference, and better qualified job applicants since they use the website to learn more about our organization before they apply/interview. Many staff members have commented that because of the website they have an increased sense of pride in our organization and what we do! After launching our site, that included the ability to donate online, our organization received more than $40,000 in online donation. Most of them were new donors to Mama’s Kitchen. Though we haven’t implemented an email campaign system yet, we find our email newsletter is very popular and continue to receive new sign-ups online to receive our newsletter. We continue to get additional new volunteers through our website and push users (and potential donors) to our site continually as part of marketing and pr efforts. We have received many compliments on how user-friendly our site is and we recognize the value of the upfront planning process to identify how to make the site user-centered. We appreciate the work InfoTAP did with us to help increase the success of our site and look forward to the next edition of our site due in late 2006.
